First we defined JDR's brand strategy and developed messaging to drive it. We turned this into original campaign content – both written and visual – then issued a steady stream of news, which we replayed across social channels to achieve continuous engagement. We also ran proactive media relations campaigns to get the market talking at major energy events.
Over the last 6 months JDR was consistently quoted in the media that matters – including Energy Voice, PES Wind and Recharge. We totally transformed JDR's media relations by leveraging events such as Global Offshore Wind and Subsea Expo to secure interviews with the likes of Offshore Engineer, ReNews and Upstream and ensure JDR's voice was heard.
I recently attended a global supplier forum and a number of people approached me about our recent coverage. The majority of attendees had seen it and all gave very positive feedback. To have JDR recognised in such high regard was fantastic.
