The brief
Fenergo wanted to grow its visibility in Singapore and strengthen its credibility with financial-services decision makers. Although well-established globally, brand awareness was low in APAC , and Fenergo required a structured PR program to support demand generation, industry engagement and spokesperson profiling.
The challenge
To cut through the competition for share of Singapore’s limited media pool, especially within RegTech, where many firms compete to comment on rapidly evolving regulations, financial crime issues and operational efficiency trends. Top-tier journalists are also selective, time-poor and focused on data-rich stories that offer genuine market insight. The key was to quickly differentiate Fenergo’s perspective and build trust with media who were not yet familiar with the brand.
The approach
Aspectus developed a focused communications program anchored in regulatory insight, financial-crime trends and Fenergo’s proprietary data. This included a Singapore-specific press office, targeted media pitching, a strategic thought-leadership pipeline and rapid-response newsjacking. Briefings with key spokespeople ensured credible, timely commentary. By developing bespoke content for Singapore and engaging top-tier journalists directly, Aspectus improved Fenergo’s visibility, secured consistent coverage and established valuable long-term media relationships.
