The brief

Horizon Trading Solutions (Horizon) sought impactful, engaging press coverage in relevant trade media to raise awareness of its new brand and position its innovative technology offering and spokespeople in front of its core target audiences: brokers, banks, hedge funds, and exchanges.  

The challenge

With Horizon undergoing a rebrand in March 2024 as an important milestone in its development journey, including a revision of the company name and logo, our job was to utilize strategic, editorial storytelling to position the fresh new brand in front of niche segments of financial market professionals. With the company’s focus being on agency and principal trading technology across several asset classes, we needed to be innovative and deploy considered creativity to frame themes around liquidity and trading algorithms, for example, in a compelling way.  

The approach

To meet this objective, we pursued a proactive media campaign spanning interviews, comment placements, and opinion editorial articles, alongside raising awareness around Horizon-focused announcements. By taking this multifaceted approach, we not only generated awareness for Horizon’s company news but positioned it as a prominent voice on key market trends, issues and developments. Our strategy was firmly rooted in both capital markets expertise and established media know-how, helping to generate interest from the financial press on topics directly relevant to Horizon’s target audience. We secured a consistent spread of resonant, quality coverage for Horizon Trading Solutions in its new and approved brand.
