Flexible working 

We have a core-hour working day for everyone. It gives our team the flexibility to do more of the things that mean the most to them – and that all-important work-life balance as and when they need it. Three quarters of Aspectus people use these regularly for a better work-life balance.

Mental wellbeing 

We are proud to be one of the only businesses that provide mental-health training to every single person. We also have a mental health nucleus, driven by our people team who are trained to a high standard of mental health first aid. We also cover a range of paid-for therapy and occupational-therapy support. 

Time to celebrate

Up to two days off for an engagement, a wedding, or civil partnership. The same for house moves or graduation. It all takes the pressure off – without eating into vacation days.   

Family matters 

Our people enjoy maternity, paternity and adoption leave at 100% pay. We also offer time off for fertility treatment for both partners and shared parental leave, so everyone can look after their family in the way that suits them best. 

Battery recharge 

After five years, we offer our people a three-month sabbatical so they can recharge their batteries. Travel, learn a new skill or take a well-deserved break, we’re ready to welcome them back when they return. 

The hardest times 

Grief can arrive when we least expect it, and bereavement is a unique process for everyone. We promise our people up to 10 weeks off to be taken in any way they like – for as long as they need it. We also offer additional paid time off for both parents to deal with the trauma of miscarriage and cover the cost of any grief counselling.

The Aspectus Academy – a different way to start your career

Our fully paid, hands-on apprenticeship scheme is a two-year course for school-leavers from backgrounds and areas that would not usually have the opportunity to work in our industry.
