Launch of the world’s first Conservation Venture Studio (CVS)

The brief

GAV partnered with Oxford University Innovation to create the world’s first Conservation Venture Studio – a unique model with a transformative approach to conservation.
The team of the newly established OXGAV wanted to raise awareness of the CVS among investors and collaborators by communicating the launch and the potential affect the studio could have on conservation.
To do so, they enlisted an ESG comms specialist.

The result

The string of coverage secured has raised GAV’s brand recognition and solidified their reputation as a progressive and innovative VC and has laid the foundations for relationships with key media contacts.

Beyond that, the launch helped OXGAV to challenge the status quo on conservation, offering a blueprint for acceleration of conservation objectives by implementing university research.
