A multi-channel program repositioning Argon & Co as a valuable alternative to Big Four consultancies in the UK

The Brief

Argon & Co UK is growing rapidly and needed its sales and marketing activity to scale alongside the business.

As a leading operations strategy and transformation consultancy, it tasked Aspectus with increasing brand awareness and inbound demand in the UK. The objective was to raise visibility among senior decision-makers, strengthen credibility against larger competitors, and support business growth.

The Challenge

While Argon & Co enjoyed strong brand recognition in France, at the beginning of 2024, its UK business was looking to enhance brand awareness. Despite deep industry expertise and very high client satisfaction, the business needed to improve how it was communicating to the market. Its target audiences often defaulted to Big Four consultancies instead, simply due to familiarity.

Operating in a crowded and highly competitive consulting landscape, Argon & Co needed to cut through the noise. With a small UK sales and marketing team, the business needed a joined-up strategy that would build the company’s profile, demonstrate expertise, and support commercial outcomes.

Our Approach

Aspectus developed an integrated, multi-channel program combining earned media, thought leadership, paid media, and awards to reposition Argon & Co in the UK market. The strategy focused on consistent visibility, data driven insight, and measurable lead generation.

This is anchored in Argon & Co’s flagship research report, Operations Outlook, which supports year round marketing activity. An always-on press office, performance driven PPC, and a targeted awards program transformed how sales and marketing worked together across the UK business.

Always-on press office

From the outset, we implemented an always-on press office to position Argon & Co as the go to expert on operations, supply chain, logistics, and more. Within the first week of the partnership, we secured coverage in The Guardian through reactive commentary on the CBAM announcement in the Chancellor’s Spring Statement.

Over 18 months, we have secured 92 pieces of coverage, including features in BBC Panorama and City AM, alongside top-tier trade coverage in The Grocer, Management Today, CPO Strategy, and edie. This consistent presence significantly increased brand visibility among target audiences.

Flagship annual report: Operations Outlook

In 2025, Aspectus supported the launch of Argon & Co’s flagship global research report, Operations Outlook, and subsequently developed Operations Outlook 2026. Our work included creating headline-driven questionnaires, coordinating with Argon & Co’s global offices, interviewing subject-matter experts for qualitative insights, developing the report’s copy, and designing the whitepaper and supporting assets. We also activated the findings via paid and organic LinkedIn campaigns, targeted PPC, and year-round spin-off content.

Results for Operations Outlook 2026 so far include more than 146,000 impressions on the paid LinkedIn campaign from the initial five-week LinkedIn campaign, and several pieces of standalone media coverage across the top-tier sustainability, food and beverage, and supply chain press.

The reports have fueled several months’ worth of marketing activity – engaging employees across the business and enabling Argon & Co’s team to connect with current and prospective clients.

PPC

Our PPC strategy was built on a deep understanding of both Argon & Co UK’s target audience and their business. Ahead of campaign launch, we conducted comprehensive keyword and competitor research to define the most effective routes to market for its operations transformation and procurement services.

We initially focused on driving meaningful website engagement – analyzing audience behaviors, including time on site and scroll depth – to uncover actionable insights before shifting our focus to lead generation.

Alongside this, we provided strategic landing page recommendations and implemented a dynamic bidding strategy, continuously refining campaigns through search term analysis, ad refreshes, and budget management. This results driven approach ensured every element of the campaign worked seamlessly to drive qualified traffic and deliver measurable outcomes for Argon & Co.

In 2025, our PPC activity generated more than 184,000 impressions and over 10,200 clicks. It also resulted in 142 lead generation form submissions – contributing directly to the win of major client projects.

Awards

We also developed a tailored awards program that plays into Argon & Co’s strengths and sector positioning. We created a targeted awards calendar, identified relevant categories to maximize success, and collaborated with more than ten internal stakeholders at Argon through structured briefing sessions to capture standout projects and individual achievements.

Taking full ownership of the drafting process, we worked to tight deadlines and ensured submissions were digestible and compelling, while bearing in mind judging panel’s preferences.

Our work has secured winning results. We secured two shortlists for the 2024 Global Procurement & Supply Chain (Global P&SC) Awards, including a win for Procurement Consultancy of the Year. For the 2025 Women in Change Awards, Argon & Co walked home with a win for the Change Consultant of the Year category, alongside two other finalist listings. In the 2025 iteration of the Global P&SC Awards, five out of the six entries drafted made the shortlist, and four of those were highly commended.

This success enhanced Argon & Co’s credibility and standing in their market, demonstrating the high caliber of work delivered to its clients, and recognized the outstanding contributions of its people. The program has also delivered a positive internal message for Argon & Co employees, strengthened client relationships, and reinforced the company’s reputation for excellence.
