
Working hand-in-hand with energy EPC contractor Global E&C to drive its transition into its new brand identity: nexos, as it positioned for the energy transition.
We were originally brought in to support Global E&C develop its brand narrative and messaging around its modular offering. But as we became more embedded in the business, our role quickly expanded to brand consultancy – shaping the brand platform, portfolio architecture, website, and internal and external communications.

The Challenge
While Global E&C’s talented internal team focused on the details of their new visual identity and the early elements of the brand story, our role was to provide strategic brand consultancy and bring together the other elements to create a cohesive and powerful go-to-market. But with a busy team who wore many hats and a short timeframe to launch, it meant we had to be creative.
Our Approach
We delivered a joined-up brand roll-out: starting with strategic brand consultancy and messaging support, through to refreshed homepage design and layout, and developing compelling copy that resonated with nexos’ audience. To ensure their internal team was aligned with the transformation and energy transition positioning, we also supported with internal communications to bring everyone on the journey. From storyboarding a brand sizzle reel and organic social media content to a tailored thought leadership article and media engagement, we ensured that every element of nexos spoke to the bold, innovative energy future they were embracing.

Social media performance
While the engagement rate of the two organic LinkedIn launch posts was impressive, this was based on 76k impressions, 898 reactions and over 90 reposts – signaling strong audience engagement.
Multiple media tactics
We knew that we had to create multiple opportunities to engage with the media post launch, but with a limited news pipeline, we creatively used breaking news commentary to drive traction – it resulted in more than 6 pieces of coverage on a key topic in the North Sea energy industry, positioning nexos as a leading voice in this area.
Internal communications
To ensure alignment across both onshore and offshore employees, we helped develop CEO speech scripts that aligned with the brand ethos and vision to keep the wider team informed and engaged on next steps.
