Aspectus Group expands UK footprint with Edinburgh-based appointment

Senior appointment strengthens agency’s financial and professional services capabilities in Scotland
Aspectus Group, the global brand, marketing and communications agency specialising in complex sectors, has announced the opening of a new office in Edinburgh, marking a significant expansion of its UK footprint and additional investment in Scotland.
Aspectus’ long-standing global presence and specialist sector expertise in financial services, professional services, energy and technology, create a powerful platform for businesses operating across fast-moving, regulated and innovation-led markets. The move reflects growing client demand across the breadth of Aspectus’ sectors and strengthens the agency’s ability to serve clients locally while connecting them to its wider international network.
The Edinburgh office will be led by Kirsten Scott, Head of Financial & Professional Services, UK & Europe.
Alastair Turner, CEO of Aspectus Group, said:
“Scotland has long been an important market for Aspectus and this expansion reflects both client demand and the strength of the talent here. Edinburgh is one of Europe’s most sophisticated financial centres, while our Aberdeen team provides unparalleled expertise in energy and industrials. Together, they create a uniquely joined-up offering that is locally grounded, internationally connected.”
Kirsten brings more than a decade’s experience of developing and delivering communications strategies for clients across the financial and professional services sectors, from high-growth start-ups to multinational firms, advising senior leaders on reputation, growth and change.
Kirsten Scott, Head of Financial & Professional Services, UK & Europe at Aspectus, said:
“Edinburgh is one of Europe’s key financial centres, making it a natural base for expanding our financial and professional services expertise. Clients here are operating in complex, highly-regulated environments and need communications that are credible, strategic and commercially focused. By working hand-in-hand with our colleagues in Aberdeen, London, and across our global network, we can give clients the best of local insight and international expertise.”
The Edinburgh team will work closely with Aspectus’ established Aberdeen office, led by Megain Buchan, Head of Energy and Industrials, UK & Europe.
Megain Buchan added:
“The connection between Edinburgh and Aberdeen is a real strength for our clients. Many are operating at the intersection of technology, finance, energy and ESG, and benefit from teams who understand both the local context and the global picture. This expansion allows us to collaborate even more closely and deliver truly joined-up communications programmes that deliver measurable outcomes for clients.”
The Edinburgh office further strengthens Aspectus’ global presence across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, and underlines its commitment to investing in specialist expertise, senior leadership as well as regional and international growth.
