He is ultimately responsible for client delivery across the group and ensuring that Aspectus attracts and retains some of the most talented people in the industry.

Philippa leads Aspectus’ global strategy and commercial planning, ensuring the business grows in a way that’s ambitious, sustainable, and aligned with client needs. Having built Aspectus’ digital and design capabilities, Philippa continues to champion innovation and smarter systems that enhance performance and deliver more powerful outcomes for clients.

Laura Iley

Laura started out in the energy sector, established our Aberdeen office, expanded our energy practice and now oversees the day-to-day operations of our European, Middle Eastern and Asian business. Laura works with our teams to solve strategic and day-to-day commercial and client challenges – and also to ensure that our growth is always centered on our people and creating opportunities for cross-sector, multi-channel and international collaboration.

As the agency’s focal point for client service, Ellie champions partnership and excellence, helping teams deliver meaningful results for clients worldwide. Bill is the founder of Aspectus and provides strategic advice, training and consultancy at the highest level. A former journalist, Bill has spent more than 30 years in communications working with organizations all over the world. He is an accomplished speaker, meeting facilitator and has written several books on brand strategy and media.

Alexa West

Alexa leads our North American team and business, and serves as a member of the executive board. She has deep experience in financial services communications, and has created strategies and programs for many of the Fortune 500 and other high growth companies throughout her career. Alexa is a former journalist, and  holds an AB from Harvard College and an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Lucinda is responsible for ensuring clients receive maximum amplification and market-beating conversion rates from their digital marketing activity. Marko Batarilo

Marko leads the web development team at Aspectus. He is a full-stack developer with experience across all key CMS platforms. Marko has supported companies across sector and has an in-depth understanding of web-related security requirements – which he achieves without compromising website performance. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Information Security and Digital Forensics, and has completed APM and PRINCE2 project management courses.

Shelley Bowdler-Olagbaiye

For more than a decade, Shelley has supported the growth and success of the digital marketing practice at Aspectus, ensuring clients get the most from their marketing investment. With a deep understanding of B2B marketing, she has led international strategies for clients in the energy, financial, and industrial sectors. Shelley also leads the digital marketing strategy for the business across SEO, PPC, websites and campaigns. From our office in Aberdeen, Megain leads our team of energy experts with skill, insight and a vast amount of experience. She has led marketing and communications programs for companies throughout the energy value chain, regularly contributes her expertise to our ESG Communications teams, and provides counsel for energy companies of all sizes. She is responsible for overseeing and expanding our energy and industrials portfolio and making sure we secure genuine engagement for clients internationally.

Having started her career as a journalist, Izzy delivers outstanding results for technology founders, developers, and investors. Blending expert counsel, strong media relationships, and compelling content, Izzy excels in idea generation and strategic development. Beyond earned media expertise, she plays a pivotal role in owned media activity like branding and long-form reports. Tim is responsible for the strategic direction of the UK & European Capital Markets practice and its ambitious team. Throughout his career, Tim has cemented a strong reputation for creating standout campaigns for market infrastructure firms. Tim is also responsible for our media training in the UK.

Astrid French

Astrid, based in our Dubai office, leads Aspectus Middle East, responsible for overseeing its direction, fostering its growth, and cultivating strong client relationships. Her experience spearheading global, integrated communications programs is layered with a deep understanding of strategic nuances in the region. With more than a decade of experience in B2B brand, marketing and communications, and a previous recipient of PR Week’s 30 under 30 award, Astrid has worked with a range of clients, from energy supermajors to early-stage tech investors to top private banks.

Annie has more than fifteen years of experience as a consultant, as a corporate communications and public affairs lead and in high-stakes political campaigning. Her clients have included some of the biggest names on the Fortune 500 in the US and in Singapore – where she led corporate communications across eight countries in the region. Annie holds a BS in Political Science and minor in Communications from the University of California, Davis.

Ted Harvey

Ted joined Aspectus from Barret and Cook stockbrokers. Since his arrival, Ted has played a pivotal role on the growth of the capital markets practice. His clients include some of the world’s largest cash equities and derivatives exchanges. Ted has strong market understanding, particularly across Fixed Income trading and the post-trade space. He is responsible for the strategy and story idea generation across several capital markets accounts.
