London, 31st July 2017 – Aspectus, the specialist communications agency for the energy, financial services, technology and engineering sectors, has been reappointed by the European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS). The agreement builds on an existing content partnership and now incorporates media relations to take advantage of Aspectus’ integrated approach to communications.
ENCS is a non-profit member organisation that brings together smart grid stakeholders to collaborate and solve cyber security challenges across Europe. Members and partners include utilities and academics, though work is carried out in collaboration with government bodies and equipment manufacturers. The goal is to support utilities and other stakeholders to achieve the highest possible cyber security standards as Europe transitions to the smart grid.
Aspectus will support ENCS with a campaign designed to raise its profile and better communicate its work to members. The scope includes a regular blog covering industry themes, case studies, thought leadership articles and a media campaign, press releases to support major announcements, a quarterly membership newsletter and social media profile building.
“We found a reliable and knowledgeable partner in Aspectus,” said Michael John, Director, Consulting Services, ENCS. “Their deep understanding of the energy sector and the smart grid ensured that our collaboration has been smooth from day one. We look forward to celebrating more success together.”
Laura Iley, Head of Energy, Aspectus, commented: “It’s an exciting time for the energy industry, with every aspect becoming smarter and more connected, creating huge opportunity. However, there are also challenges – such as cyber security – and we thrive on communicating those technical but vital messages to the market. We’re glad to extend and expand our partnership with ENCS and help them do just that.”
