London, 7th October 2014 – The Financial Services Forum has shortlisted Aspectus in its Public Relations category for the 2014 Awards. The shortlisting is a result of the agency’s work on eToro, the social investment network.
Aspectus was set the goal of helping eToro increase its reach to the man on the street. To achieve this, the team embarked on a media relations campaign which secured meetings with the likes of The Economist, Bloomberg and The Daily Telegraph. The stand out piece of coverage was with The Sunday Times, which led to a 300 per cent rise in eToro’s UK user base.
Nadav Avidan, PR and Communications Manager, eToro, said: “We’ve seen Aspectus not only walk the walk, but also talk the talk. If you’re looking for great PR results, better listen to what these guys have to say.”
Katy Galasinski, Head of Financial Services at Aspectus, commented: “Our brief from eToro was clear but challenging. We aimed to marry accurate financial communications with creative thinking. That was the secret to making the campaign memorable and why eToro saw a high number of consumers sign up.”
Financial Services Forum winners will be announced on Tuesday 18th November 2014 at the Annual Members Dinner in London.
