The brief

As fund managers invested in large and small cap UK companies, Paul Mumford and Nick Burchett have experienced many examples where communication with non-exec directors is lacking. Their objective was to raise greater awareness of this, while also proposing a solution to improve communication channels utilising the technology available today.

The results

We secured interviews for Paul with the Mail on Sunday on two occasions, both looking at examples of poor shareholder communication. Using the new year as a hook, we drafted a thought leadership article for Nick placing this in Financial News, before then adapting this into a letter to the editor which was placed in the Financial Times.

Poor corporate governance is an issue Paul and I have wanted to make a lot of noise about for a while now, and Aspectus have been proactive in writing effective content and getting exposure in all the right papers.
