This writer will relish the challenge of delving into complicated subject matter and creating compelling content that engages B2B audiences. We know that great writers don’t come along every day, so we’re open to a range of experience levels. You might be just starting out, looking to hone a natural talent, or perhaps you’re more experienced and looking for a new challenge?
Either way, you’ll be naturally curious and love to learn about new things, as this role will span our energy and financial services teams, and perhaps sometimes also cover capital markets and technology. You’ll be excited by the prospect of speaking to experts in their field, and adapting their insights to fit the brief: be that web copy, digital copy (meta descriptions, social posts etc.), a press release, a customer case study, a by-lined article, blogs, a technical piece or a white paper.
You might also have a track record or desire to learn about broader communications strategy, encompassing aspects such as messaging and branding. That’s something the right person would have an option to be involved in, but is not a requirement.
You’ll also be an organised self-starter, able to juggle various deadlines and communicate effectively around these both internally and externally.
- Develop various types of content across a broad spread of clients, with a focus on energy and financial services
- Take ownership of the entire content development process, from idea generation, through managing briefings, delivering content and handling approvals
- Contribute ideas to new business proactive activity, pitches and proposals
