There was just one thing left to do here at Aspectus Towers before scarpering off for the Easter break, and that was to announce the winner (or should that be loser?) of Aspectus PR’s hunt for this year’s ugliest Easter Egg.
Given the shocking amount of unsightly sugary treats out there, it was a tough choice. And we thought we had it cracked until a late entry came in and the votes had to be recast.
However, we have soldiered on, the voting panel has spoken, and this year’s titles goes to … Eggna.
Complete with her fish lips and bobble hat, Eggna (pictured) comes from the clever designers at M&S, and won a staggering 50 per cent of the vote. You could argue that this is actually ‘six of one, and half a dozen’ of the other, but hopefully, any treats you get this year will be a lot more aesthetically pleasing.
